Around one in three people over the age of 65 fall in the UK every year. This increases to one in two people over the age of 80. A fall does not always result in a serious injury (e.g. a fracture) however it can have a significant impact on your level of confidence and this in turn can affect your functional ability and independence
The Physio Clinic @home aims to reduce your risk of falls by completing a comprehensive assessment of not only your medical health and physical abilities but also your environment and day to day needs. As appropriate, we can provide you with an exercise program, techniques and advice to reduce your risk of falls and suggestions for equipment which will improve your independence. If you have concerns regarding a history of falls, suffer with poor balance, have a fear of falling or would like advice to prevent falls, we can help
