An initial consultation with The Physio Clinic @home will provide you with an in-depth assessment, a clear explanation regarding our clinical diagnosis/opinion and a jointly agreed treatment plan. You will receive advice regarding your condition and how our services can help you to regain an improved level of independence. The number and frequency of appointments required to achieve your goals will also be discussed

A Physiotherapy review appointment is suitable for clients who have completed an initial consultation within the last four weeks and are partaking in an ongoing rehabilitation program with the team. For any newly diagnosed condition/problem, an initial consultation will be required. 

A review appointment will consist of treatment tailored to you and may include, an individualised exercise program, support/practice with new equipment, advice regarding everyday activities such as bathing and cooking, mobility/transfer practice and functional activity tasks

A one-off environmental/equipment assessment is for clients who have concerns and queries regarding their set up at home. Advice will be provided to reduce risk of falls, support patients with everyday activities and improve their independence. We will also give advice regarding equipment that will support clients to do this. 

If you have a specific condition/therapy need that affects your functional ability at home, an initial consultation would be more appropriate in order to also address your physical needs

Our fun and social group exercise classes are conducted with a small number of people (up-to 12 per group) and our aim is to inspire, motivate and empower everyone to improve their physical health and functional abilities. All classes are adapted to support the individuals within the group. These exercise classes are best suited to environments within assisted living/sheltered and warden controlled accommodation, care homes and older people's social groups

A free session specifically designed for a group of 10+ people to give advice and education on ageing well and to inform of the services we provide. This session is suitable for groups in assisted living/sheltered and warden controlled accommodation, large events and social groups. We will be on hand afterwards to discuss if our services would be of benefit to you or your loved ones

We offer a monthly maintenance appointment for clients that have achieved their goals however would like ongoing professional support to ensure they maintain their independence, new baseline level of ability and improved quality of life! A direct debit / standing order will secure your desired monthly appointment slot
